Our annual Walk-a-Thon is this Friday from 10:00 – 12:00.
KIDS PLEASE wear COMFORTABLE SHOES and CLOTHES.
Put on some SUNSCREEN. Bring a JACKET.
You are invited to help us and walk during the Eagle Walk. We’ll need to take our classes’ tables out to the field first thing in the morning. A few parents can hang out at our tables and count students’ laps. Bring your camera. Have fun!
If you’d like to send in HEALTHY SNACK FOODS IN CHILD-SIZED PORTIONS, that would be so appreciated.
Healthy snack foods might include sliced apples, cubed cheese, cut up power bars, crackers, pretzels, jerky, etc.
Your child should bring his or her own water bottle.
To begin the Eagle Walk, Mrs. Gauthier will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. We’ll hear the National Anthem.
Then the fifth grade classes make a ceremonial lap after which all classes do one lap with their banners.
After that, kids can run and walk at their own pace.
The Eagle Walk is our school’s main fundraising activity that supplies extra funds to each classroom.
All of the monies pledged to our students end up in our classroom’s individual account.
Every teacher greatly appreciates your effort and support for your child’s education.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! You can send your child to school with his or her pledge money as soon as you collect it.
